A Ministry of Guidance
It is often said that “God does not call the equipped – he equips the called.” Integral to the ministry of EQUIP are the volunteer teams of trained mentors who bond with the families at risk of becoming homeless.
EQUIP provides the training and support so that volunteer EQUIP Mentors can provide meaningful guidance to the families they serve.
EQUIP Mentors walk hand-in-hand with families for four to six months to assist with:
- Immediate Financial Crisis Remedies
- Financial Management
- Life Skills
- Parenting Skills
- Employment Goals
- Family Goals
- Spiritual Support
